Writing at All World Dance has exposed me to a wider range of dance-related activities than I expected to discover. For example, I’d never heard of Canine Musical Freestyle, also called canine freestyle and other variations, until I read about the British Columbia, Canada-based group Paws2Dance.
Canine freestyle basically takes traditional obedience routines and focuses on a more creative, interactive approach that includes music and dance. It’s a gradually growing worldwide phenomenon and you can find out more about it in Wikipedia’s Musical canine freestyle entry that includes links to various organizations at the bottom of the post.
