I’m still getting caught up on recent news and, though I don’t feel like I have to document everything that’s happened prior to getting up to speed, there are some cool things I really want to include like this performance by cellist Yo-Yo Ma and dancer Lil Buck. It happened at an event for school kids in Los Angeles that was meant, in part, to protest cuts in school arts funding. The above video was filmed by Spike Jonez.

I first heard of Spike Jonez due to his appearance in this music video for Fatboy Slim which he directed so I thought I’d throw this in as a bonjs. He’s the dancer/choreographer in the striped shirt!
