Vogue Original Shorts: Lena Dunham and Hamish Bowles Star in “Cover Girl”
Lena Dunham is the star of HBO’s “Girls,” a series that has drawn a bit of controversy, in part, because it shows young adult women’s bodies with an emphasis on real life rather than cover girl fantasies.
So it caught people by surprise when Lena Dunham made the cover of Vogue. Was vogue embracing real women or was something else in the works?
Little of column A, little of column B as Dunham makes the cover but Vogue retouches the images.
As part of the cover feature, Vogue included Dunham in their Original Shorts series for the rather delightful and somewhat old school movie-style “Cover Girl” which creates a dance based on the poses of famous models.
