unnamed soundsculpture by Daniel Franke & Cedric Kiefer [Source: Daniel Franke]
The creation of unnamed soundsculpture by Daniel Franke and Cedric Kiefer is another great example of the work being developed featuring dancers and the Kinect for Xbox 360.
I think we'll see a whole lot more of this in the future.

However, I'm so annoyed to have discovered they do not name the dancer in the video or in the text accompanying the video that I'm also tempted to leave their names out as well. Dancers are not just material for the presentation of the work of artists or choregraphers. They should always be acknowledged as the work could not exist without them.
If you want to know more, click through on the article or on the videos and find out for yourself.
Update: The dancer is Laura Keil. Check my Twitter exchange with an unidentified individual at onformative who still can't say her name!
Turns out onformative did post Keil's name on their Vimeo channel but Franke's channel is what got picked up in the media and he omitted her identity.
Update 2: onformative says he's contacting Franke, sounds like they want to do the right thing and the video is certainly beautiful!
