San Francisco’s WestWave Dance Festival kicks off its 20th Anniversary season with a Gala at Z Space July 19. Performances continue through October 10 at Z Space or ODC Theater.
Performances are a showcase of contemporary dance in the Bay Area with each show usually featuring 5 or more acts. While it’s always difficult to truly represent such a diverse region as the San Francisco Bay Area, it sounds like they’re doing their best to include as much as possible. However, the season includes some out-of-towners as well.
