Sushma Swaraj’s Dance [Source: TV9]
Bharatiya Janata Party senior politician Sushma Swaraj danced briefly at Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial at Rajghat in New Delhi, India as part of a protest by BHJ opposition party members. They were protesting the late night eviction of an anti-corruption gathering from festival grounds.
The original gathering was led by Yoga guru Baba Ramdev who has since been hospitalized due to an indefinite fast undertaken as part of the protests.
Gandhian Anna Hazare fasted for a day as a symbol of protest and said that he would also start an indefinite fast in August if the ant-graft Lokpal Bill is not passed.
Media attention has focused on the dance video of Sushma Swaraj who said she is shocked that they are not focusing instead on the overall protest.
