Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has a YouTube hit on his hands but it’s not such a good one. Last week he was videotaped dancing to American Boy, a Russian pop hit of the 90s, in what has been described as “stiff dance moves”. In the video above he’s the one in the blue or silver suit rhythmically stepping from left to right and clapping.
Apparently he used Twitter to defend himself, tweeting that “The dancesthe music – they fit in with the past.”
Given the massive media coverage this brief moment has received, one can only think that perhaps he should have left those moves in the past. Poor guy.
