Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago paid a visit to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo this week giving a performance at Miller Auditorium.
Artistic Director Nan Giordano, daughter of the late company founder, Gus Giordano, revealed in advance of the performance:
“The show will literally take the audience on a journey of what we think is jazz dance…There is only one song in the group that is really considered ‘jazz.’ We have some hip-hop, a Latin beat song and a brand new ballroom medley that we are really excited about. There will definitely be something in there for everyone.”
